The BGT ST6 series of turbine packages are designed for projects that require1.5MW or less per package with admirable heat rates. BGT performs standard upgrades utilizing the latest in HPT cooling and Ceramic Thermal Barrier Coating. Due to its compact size versus output, the BGT ST6 product line is ideal for small power generation projects, marine drive for large yachts and power boats, or even as an airworthy APU unit for large commercial aircraft.

Four models are available, covering the power range from 450kW to 1,327kW (600shp to 1,780shp). All are based on the well-proven and dependable PT6 series of aviation turboprops, which have accumulated in excess of 200 million operational hours.

BGT offers complete turnkey power plant systems utilizing these engines. The ST6 can be fueled by Natural Gas, Propane, or Liquid Diesel. Designed with maximum durability, reliability and ease of maintenance, the ST6 is considered to be a winner by its users.
