BGT's RB211 package utilizes the Rolls-Royce manufactured RB211 series aero engine - over 1,130 in service with over 75 million hours of operation, one of the most reliable gas turbines available.  BGT modifies the existing RB211 turbine to employ the latest technology in Thermal Barrier Coatings ( TBC ) resulting in increased output, efficiency, and turbine life - ideal for power generation or oil & gas pipeline operations.  The RB211's performance is as follows :

*Options are available for hot end drive, marine, liquid or dual fuel, 3000rpm / 50Hz applications, and 5500rpm mechanical drive applications.
